T.D. Jakes, the TV minister, tells the story of his first church collection: the amount was $2.50; there was a fuss about that collection. At the time, he didn’t understand why.
Years later, when he had achieved a large degree of success, he explained that the forces of darkness knew his idea would achieve greatness, and it did everything in its power to stop him, at the beginning, before he had barely begun the bringing forth of his idea.
This placing of obstacles or blockages onto the path of an idea whose time has come is known as the Law of Opposites.
It showed up for me this weekend. I am going forward with my idea, and blocks appeared, just as blocks have appeared for all those deciding to birth a new idea.
The Law of Opposites is how the Universe (God energy) works. Whenever a decision is made, opposition will appear.
When opposition occurred, I used to feel pretty awful; I thought I was on the wrong path, had made a poor decision, or had selected the wrong idea, something I wasn’t meant to do.
Now I know that the stronger the opposition, the more blocks, the greater the obstacles, the more right my decision is. I am on the correct path; I choose the right idea to bring forth.
Angels of All of Us
Today, stand with us as we study and face the opposition. The Law of Opposites is at work. It does its job of revealing other possibilities and of revealing unintended consequences.
However, we were given an idea, an idea that uses our uniqueness, an idea that solves a challenge. We stand fast to our original idea. We go forth into victory.
We honor our idea by continuing on the path designed for its birth and growth. We rejoice in obstacles; they simply tell us we are on the correct path and are working with the idea that’s right for us.
Angels of all of us,
I am Rev. Barbara. I speak this word for all those who are open and receptive to it. I speak for all those who have recognized the idea they were given and who are willing to give birth to it and to nurture its growth. I speak so that we may know the truth and the truth shall set us free.
We rejoice at each obstacle, each stoppage, each block. These are simply signs that we have chosen well and that our path is true.
We thank you for being with us and reminding us of truth.
Peace to all,
