Receiving

Dec. 21, 2013

Hi,

A group of us met to discuss the Universal Law of BE-DO-HAVE: first be what you wish to be, then do what you wish to be and then the having occurs. Gandhi taught something similar when he said, “You must be the change you wish to see in the world.”

As we talked, it became apparent that the problem we had with using this law was with the having.  In this case, having means receiving.

We grow into the “be” we have selected; no problem there.  We then “do” this selection and as we “do”, we become greater and more expansive.  This experience of becoming causes us to recognize our power.  We become inspired and allow our Self to reach more people.  No problem with the “do”.

Big problem with having what naturally flows from “be” and “do”:  the Law of BE-DO-HAVE says that the having energy will be in the form of money, wealth, reward, thanks and recognition.

When the Universe shows up with these things, most of us duck; we refuse to receive what we have earned and deserve.  Often we do this because we don’t feel safe, or we don’t feel good enough, or we don’t feel that we have done enough to receive what we desire, earn and deserve.

At this holy season when the focus is on giving to others, take a moment to focus on YOU receiving.  I know that you and I are wonderful givers; now let us become fantastic receivers.  The Universe will be so grateful for us becoming great receivers; it has much in storage for us.

Angels of All of Us

Angels of all of us,

We realize that we are fantastic givers.  We give thanks for this talent.  Now, it is time that we, also, become great receivers.  We forgive our Self for all the times when we weren’t good receivers.  Until this moment, we didn’t realize that we took away someone’s joy when we didn’t receive well.

So, starting this very moment, we are open to the habit and the practice of continuous receiving.  We say:

  •  “Yes”, to you, Universe;
  • “Yes” to miracles;
  • “Yes” to money;
  • “Yes” to our ideas becoming physical realities;
  • “Yes” to health;
  • “Yes” to vitality and energy;
  • “Yes” to wisdom;
  • “Yes” to love;
  • “Yes” to big things;
  • “Yes” to small things;
  • “Yes” to wealth;
  • “Yes” to recognition;
  • “Yes” to help;
  • “Yes” to the master within us who knows all things;
  • “Yes” to joy;
  • “Yes” to laughter;
  • “Yes” to the all good of the Universe.

Angels of all of us,

This is Rev. Barbara.  I speak the word for all who are open and receptive to it.  I speak so that all may know the truth.  From the truth, and only from the truth, comes freedom, liberty, justice, health, prosperity, love and victories of every kind.

Angels of all of us,

Thank you for helping us accept and receive.  We give thanks for this wonderful talent of receiving.  We give thanks for the joy and peace receiving brings.  We are deeply grateful for our deservingness.  We are open to receiving all good from this moment on.

And so it is.

Peace,

Rev. Barbara

Your Personal Truth–the Gift of the Season

Dec. 10, 2013

Hi,

My tree is up; the one I purchased last year when I finally got in the Christmas Spirit after years and years and years of not experiencing even a remote desire to participate in this season that is most holy to practitioners of many faiths.

Then Newtown happened.  I am an ex-early childhood teacher.  I simply couldn’t open the box, remove the tree parts and put them together.  I grieved.

Not just about Newtown, but, also, that I had been in denial about my personal truth.  Not THE TRUTH but my personal truth, the truth that makes me who I am, the truth that causes me to be healthy, happy, prosperous and wise, the truth that brings me peace and joy.

All of us have a personal truth.  It identifies the simple as well as the complicated things in our life.  For example, a simple truth in my life is that I love real roses, especially those that have a strong rose fragrance.  One of the complications in my life is the truth that I give in to the demands of others too easily and too quickly.

This season I have finally admitted my personal truth of loving the celebration of Christmas–the music, the smells of baking, the shopping, the giving and receiving of gifts, ect.

This season, standing in my personal truth, I have joy.

I didn’t realize until this moment that my newest book, Who Are You Really, was written to help me find my personal truth.  I think it will help you, too.  I will offer it soon as a free download via Amazon Kindle.  I’ll tell you when all that is set up and ready to go.

In the mean time, let’s ask the angels to help us identify and accept our personal truth, the uniqueness that brings us joy.

Angels of All of Us

Angels of all of us,

We know about THE TRUTH, and we know about our personal truth.  Today, our concern is about our personal truth: the qualities and traits that make us who we are; our requirements for happiness and peace; and that which brings us joy.

For most of us, our personal truth remains hidden within our Self.  It can be found hiding in the deepest part of our heart.

We are afraid to allow it to come forth.

Angels of all of us,

Help us to know our personal truth.  Help us to identify it, accept it and cherish it.  Help us to receive its freedom, peace and joy.  Help us to enjoy the happiness and strength that personal truth always gives.

I am Rev. Barbara.  I speak for all those who are open and receptive to this word.  I speak for all those who desire the truth.  It is the truth from which health, prosperity, love and satisfaction flow.

Thank you, angels of all of us.  Thank you for helping us experience the joy of knowing our personal truth.  Thank you for the peace and clarity this knowing brings.

Peace,

Rev. Barbara

Angels Work

Dec. 5, 2013

Hi,

I wrote this poem several years ago.  A copy is in my book, Ask the Angels to.  I keep a copy near me because reading it gives me energy and hope.

Please copy and use.

ANGELS WORK

 Sensible angels write

Spreading light, fading darkness

Bringing jubilation.

Joyful angels sing

Expanding harmony, ending discord

Delivering peace.

Courageous angels stand

Declaring truth, halting confusion

Establishing freedom.

Mighty angels fly

Conveying power, confining fear

Building strength.

Patient angels listen

Giving acceptance, absorbing imperfection

Bestowing tranquility.

Wise angels teach

Imparting courage, preventing stagnation

Assuring victory.

Kind angels serve

Inspiring trust, hindering weariness

Revealing dignity.

Stately angels speak

Unfolding hope, disrupting doubt

Granting wisdom.

Beings of light, angels all

Shouting and dancing, laughing and twirling

Celebrating humans, each and every one.

Peace,

Rev. Barbara
