What are the steps to getting what we want?
Those steps are:
Step 1: Choose
Step 2: Speak
Step 3: Act
From the Field of Infinite Possibilities, we decide what we want. Once we make our choice, we describe it in great detail (Law of Mental Equivalence).
We state our intention to have this thing out loud. It doesn’t have to a shout or even to people. I’ve had my best results when I’ve simply stood and whispered to the Universe my desire.
Then, we take action. The Universe rarely hands us a finished product. It does hand us the raw materials of ideas, information, energy and support. It’s up to us to use the mold of our mental picture and the raw materials given to form into reality our choice.
Of these three steps, the hardest is Step 1: Choose.
I give thanks daily for being born into a family, a community and a country that places few spoken, written or legal limitations on its citizens. However, there are the limits placed by tradition and family/cultural/social expectations.
For example, when I choose to get a college education instead of getting married, I was going against family and cultural norms. How I knew this was the right selection was all the support that continually showed up.
For example, getting a job that paid enough to pay first semester tuition and getting a work-study job that paid enough to buy the gas for the family car I used to get to the college, having a dependable car to use, being able to stay at home so that I didn’t have to come up with housing and food costs, etc.
Many of us are at the point of choosing, but, there is no support for our choice yet because we haven’t made the selection; so, how do we know which to pick?
We go to the angels and ask.
Angels of All of Us,
We give thanks that we absolutely know that you and Mother/Father God exist. We need no proof; we know.
We give thanks that we know that we live in the overflow of all good. A major piece of that overflow is the field of all possibilities, the place where we find ourselves when it’s decision time.
We give thanks that there are no limits except the one’s we place on our self.
As we examine all the possible choices we can make, we ask that you nudge us toward the selections most suited for who we are really.
We give thanks for the valuable service given us by nay-sayers. Sometimes nay-sayers, the ones who always have reasons for not doing a thing, are the bringers of ideas. Their words make us aware of the possible side-effects, the unintended consequences, of a possibility.
We add their information to that received from you angels, and we give thanks. We have considered all factors and can now make our choice in peace.
Thank you for reminding us that our choice isn’t written in stone; we can choose and choose again as often as we so desire. Therefore, fear and doubt no longer plague us. We simply recognize them as part of our world and our beingness but not our rulers, or even our persuaders.
We give thanks that we live in a world that allows choice.
And so it is.
