Why we aren’t allowed to question

Feb. 3, 2019

Hello Everyone,

Like most of you, I have questions, many questions about Spirit and why things are the way they are. Like most of you, I learned a like time ago to keep my questions to myself. I dared not voice them.

However, I am American. I believe all that stuff about freedom including free speech and the right to write and publish.

So, I’ve kept on asking; kept on observing, listening, researching; and, kept on getting answers.

The question is: why do so many religions, families, governments discourage questions being asked out loud?

The reason is that as soon as the question is asked, the questioner has began to doubt. The questioner is doubting the authority of those in a culture who supposedly know all the answers. The questioner is, also, doubting what is supposed to be true, like the existence of a sky god.

Authority figures can’t stand anyone doubting their authority or questioning the existence of anything they use–like obedience to the sky god–to keep us being followers.

So. It is important to not only ask questions, but to ask the correct questions. Let us go to the angels to gain courage to keep on asking and to know the correct questions to ask.

Angels of All of Us

Angels of all of us,

We are grateful for your existence and for knowing that you do exist. We are grateful that you are our helpers, always present, always helpful.

So. Today, we receive your support as we allow ourselves to question. We question everything. We especially question beliefs we have had from young childhood on.

Many of those beliefs were perfect for children, but now we are adults. We need beliefs that fit us as adults.

We examine our beliefs, letting go of what no longer belongs, keeping what fits us now, adding the beliefs we need now.

We question those who say they know best, that they are the only ones who can lead us, that they are deserving of our support and obedience.

So angels, support our questioning. Help us ask good questions, the kind that lead us to let go of what no longer serves us and add what does.

We are grateful for all support, all guidance and all leadership. We are especially grateful for that which allows us to claim our right to question, our right to observe, listen, analyze and come to conclusions that might differ from what is currently accepted.

We are grateful for freedom to doubt, to question and to find answers.

And so it is.

Releasing Anger

Sept. 14, 2015

Hi Everyone,

Sunday, Sept. 6, 2015 I spoke at the Center for Spiritual Living West Georgia.

I spoke about using the Soul Colors Painted technique to rid ourselves of anger.

Listening to Bobby Schuler resulted in this topic.

Hidden Anger
Bobby Schuler, the pastor of Shepherd’s Grove in California and grandson of Robert Schuler, the founder of the Crystal Cathedral, told his congregation that all of us need to stop being Mr. or Mrs. Goody-two Shoes and admit that we have hidden anger.

He explained that it is this hidden anger that causes us to over-react when someone does something like push ahead of us in line, or cut us off while driving. Some of us don’t merely over-react, we explode.

I realized that Bobby Schuler has identified a real problem: in this modern day with all of our modern gadgets, we are constantly exposed to and can experience anger; there is no getting away from it.

So, learning how to deal with it instead of stuffing, or hiding, or ignoring our anger is critical.

Soul Colors Painted
One way to deal with the anger we’re holding onto, or might not be aware that we have, is to use intuitive painting techniques. I describe this method on my website Barbara S Lucas.com and in my book Paint Your Soul Colors.

Go to my web site Barbara S Lucas.com and view the paintings of those who painted their soul colors and those who painted situations in their life so that emotions can be released and situations improved.

We can, also, go to the angels and ask for their help.

Angels of All of Us
Angels of all of us,

We are indeed grateful that we know that you exist and that you bring us information, ideas, energy, support and protection.

You help us live this life in an uplifting, positive manner and we are grateful.

Today, we ask for help in dealing with our anger. We admit that we get angry and that we don’t know what to do with this emotion.

We know from our listening to ministers like Bobby Schuler, counselors and therapists that pretending our anger doesn’t exist, stuffing it, covering it up and hiding from it create problems. Sometimes these problems result in us doing really harmful things to our self and to others.

So, today we come to you willing to do what is necessary to handle our anger in safe, doable ways. We know that it’s okay to get angry; it’s just not okay to let it smolder and grow. It’s not okay to deal with it in ways that harm our self or others. So help.

We are open to your guidance.

Thank you.

And so it is.

Stay True

Jan. 19, 2014

This week, Jan. 20 to Jan. 24, 2014, my book, Who Are You Really, is available free on Amazon Kindle.  I hope each of you download a copy this week.

Why Get the Book

Throughout history, the people who have done great work are those who have:

  • stayed focused on where they were going
  • stayed faithful to who they were
  • and who stayed firm in what they believed.

Doing the work outlined in this book will help you do all of this by getting you to :

  • name your destination
  • identify who you are
  • and, clarify your beliefs.

It, also, helps to ask the angels for clarity about these same issues.

Ask the Angels

Angels of all of us,

Those of us who seek your protection and guidance know that you, the angels, will help us realize our destinations or the calling of God on our life.  With your help, we know who we are really, and we are clear about what we believe.

Intuitively, we know that God and those who want only the very best for us want us to stay focused.  Loosing focus causes our destruction.

Intuitively, we know that any work is a great work if God calls us to do it.  It doesn’t matter if this work is unrecognized as great by the world, or if the world ignores or downplays this work.  If God calls us to do it, it is a great work.

This is Barbara speaking.  I speak the work for all those who are open and receptive to it.  I speak for all those who seek the truth for it is from the truth that all good comes including health, prosperity, personal peace and success.

The resources, knowledge and support is given us.  We know we are guided and protected. For this we give thanks.

Empathy and Being Empathetic

Sept. 22, 2013

Several of you emailed and asked for more information about empathy and being empathetic.

Empathy is the ability to read and understand people.  Empaths sense the truth of how a human and, sometimes animals, really feel.  Empaths know when someone is lying.  They can sense the true motivations of someone’s behavior.   They know when someone is offering constructive support, and when someone’s purpose is to destroy.

As with most human traits, all of us are empathetic; some of us allow this trait to come through weakly, barely even acknowledging its existence; others allow their empathetic ability to be very strong.

Dictionaries usually define empathy as compassion, consideration and deep understanding of others.  In actuality, these traits are the results of empathetic ability.

I am asking that all of us strengthen our empathetic ability and that all of us put our empathy trait to good use as we protect this new way of life we have brought into the world.

In this present time, the great majority of us are exposed to a steady stream of data.  Time and time again, all of us have been mislead, lied to and manipulated to take actions we would normally refuse to even remotely consider.

Often, we have been fed false information by those we trusted and by those to whom we gave dominion over us.

We now have an added responsibility:  we must protect, nurture and support this new thing, this new way of life, this new being we have brought, are bringing or have an intense desire to bring into the world.

We need our empathetic ability to help us meet this new responsibility.  The fact is that not everyone supports us, or the new thing we are birthing and protecting.

Observe Syria and other societies that have or are attempting to bring forth something new: not everyone in these societies welcomes this new idea.   Strong empathetic ability would help the people of these societies identify who to trust and who to beware of.

Realizing this, we turn, again, to the angels for help.

Request to the angels

I speak to the angels for all of us.

Angels of all of us,

Thus is Rev. Barbara.  I speak for all of us on the planet Earth who desire a planet where all enjoy health, prosperity and friendship; and where all can grow and expand the talents, gifts, skills Life gave to us; where all of us can achieve the calling that has been placed on our life.

I speak for all of us who now know that being an empath is a gift from God, that all of us were given this gift and that this gift can be a very powerful force for the good.

Angels of all of us, we recognize the gift of empathetic ability.  We know this ability is real, that it exists and that it’s true.  We know that each of us has this gift.  As with all spiritual gifts, it exists inside of us.  We already have it; it has and will always be.

Angels of all of us, we ask for guidance to bring this gift to our physical world.  We believe this gift will help us make good choices.  We receive this gift now.  We receive the gift of being our true Self now; this Self includes strong empathetic ability.

We are grateful for a way to know the truth when we hear it.

Therefore, angels of all of us, please help us know when our empathetic ability is giving us information and guidance.  Help us to accept the data it’s providing.  Please guide us in whatever way we receive clear, focused, understandable communication from you.

We know that accepting and using empathetic gifts helps us become stronger, more powerful healers.  For we know, that when we heal the Self, our world, also, heals.

Thank you, angels of all of us; thank you for helping us.

Peace to all,

Rev. Barbara
