Hearing the Voice

Feb. 16, 2016

Hi Everyone,

Where can we go to hear the voice of Mother/Father God? Where can we go listen and know that what we hear is specifically meant for us?

We go to the inner us.

This is where Mother/Father God dwells. On the inside of us is where Mother/Father God speaks specifically to us and to our situation.

This is where faith blooms and hope ignites.

Get to the Inside
We get to the inside by turning from the outer and all of its distractions. Distractions include conversations, reading materials, electronic devices and other day-to-day activities.

We, also, turn from our emotions and thoughts¸ especially the feelings of fear and dread.

No. Not easy.

Entering the Quiet
Mediation in all its forms—walking meditation, yoga, tai-chi—all help us become still.

However, the best way to become quiet is to simply do that: become quiet, and then, ask to hear.

Don’t expect messages to come automatically; ask to hear.

As you’ve probably guessed, I like to ask the angels of all of us.

Angels of All of Us
Angels of all of us,

We are so very grateful that we can go to you and ask.

It is with great thanksgiving that we open to being with you and to knowing that all we have to do is ask.

So, today we ask that we clearly receive the messages that Mother/Father God and you, the angels, have for us.

We ask that we be given the ability to understand what is said.

We know that we are constantly being given information, ideas, energy and support.

We know that we are protected. We know that no weapon formed against us can survive.

Most of all, we know there is a Power for Good in the Universe and that by asking we set this power into use.

We know that we were given the ability to use this Power for Good so that good flows in, as and through us; so that we live in the overflow of all good; and, so that everything in our world is good.

This knowing fills us with great joy and with peace.

We go forth with confidence knowing that because we ask, we receive and knowing that all is well and will continue to be so.

And so it is.

In the spirit of my Christmas Challenge—silently greet everyone you meet with:

You are perfect just the way you are, and I love you.

Receiving

Dec. 21, 2013

Hi,

A group of us met to discuss the Universal Law of BE-DO-HAVE: first be what you wish to be, then do what you wish to be and then the having occurs. Gandhi taught something similar when he said, “You must be the change you wish to see in the world.”

As we talked, it became apparent that the problem we had with using this law was with the having.  In this case, having means receiving.

We grow into the “be” we have selected; no problem there.  We then “do” this selection and as we “do”, we become greater and more expansive.  This experience of becoming causes us to recognize our power.  We become inspired and allow our Self to reach more people.  No problem with the “do”.

Big problem with having what naturally flows from “be” and “do”:  the Law of BE-DO-HAVE says that the having energy will be in the form of money, wealth, reward, thanks and recognition.

When the Universe shows up with these things, most of us duck; we refuse to receive what we have earned and deserve.  Often we do this because we don’t feel safe, or we don’t feel good enough, or we don’t feel that we have done enough to receive what we desire, earn and deserve.

At this holy season when the focus is on giving to others, take a moment to focus on YOU receiving.  I know that you and I are wonderful givers; now let us become fantastic receivers.  The Universe will be so grateful for us becoming great receivers; it has much in storage for us.

Angels of All of Us

Angels of all of us,

We realize that we are fantastic givers.  We give thanks for this talent.  Now, it is time that we, also, become great receivers.  We forgive our Self for all the times when we weren’t good receivers.  Until this moment, we didn’t realize that we took away someone’s joy when we didn’t receive well.

So, starting this very moment, we are open to the habit and the practice of continuous receiving.  We say:

  •  “Yes”, to you, Universe;
  • “Yes” to miracles;
  • “Yes” to money;
  • “Yes” to our ideas becoming physical realities;
  • “Yes” to health;
  • “Yes” to vitality and energy;
  • “Yes” to wisdom;
  • “Yes” to love;
  • “Yes” to big things;
  • “Yes” to small things;
  • “Yes” to wealth;
  • “Yes” to recognition;
  • “Yes” to help;
  • “Yes” to the master within us who knows all things;
  • “Yes” to joy;
  • “Yes” to laughter;
  • “Yes” to the all good of the Universe.

Angels of all of us,

This is Rev. Barbara.  I speak the word for all who are open and receptive to it.  I speak so that all may know the truth.  From the truth, and only from the truth, comes freedom, liberty, justice, health, prosperity, love and victories of every kind.

Angels of all of us,

Thank you for helping us accept and receive.  We give thanks for this wonderful talent of receiving.  We give thanks for the joy and peace receiving brings.  We are deeply grateful for our deservingness.  We are open to receiving all good from this moment on.

And so it is.

Peace,

Rev. Barbara

Your Personal Truth–the Gift of the Season

Dec. 10, 2013

Hi,

My tree is up; the one I purchased last year when I finally got in the Christmas Spirit after years and years and years of not experiencing even a remote desire to participate in this season that is most holy to practitioners of many faiths.

Then Newtown happened.  I am an ex-early childhood teacher.  I simply couldn’t open the box, remove the tree parts and put them together.  I grieved.

Not just about Newtown, but, also, that I had been in denial about my personal truth.  Not THE TRUTH but my personal truth, the truth that makes me who I am, the truth that causes me to be healthy, happy, prosperous and wise, the truth that brings me peace and joy.

All of us have a personal truth.  It identifies the simple as well as the complicated things in our life.  For example, a simple truth in my life is that I love real roses, especially those that have a strong rose fragrance.  One of the complications in my life is the truth that I give in to the demands of others too easily and too quickly.

This season I have finally admitted my personal truth of loving the celebration of Christmas–the music, the smells of baking, the shopping, the giving and receiving of gifts, ect.

This season, standing in my personal truth, I have joy.

I didn’t realize until this moment that my newest book, Who Are You Really, was written to help me find my personal truth.  I think it will help you, too.  I will offer it soon as a free download via Amazon Kindle.  I’ll tell you when all that is set up and ready to go.

In the mean time, let’s ask the angels to help us identify and accept our personal truth, the uniqueness that brings us joy.

Angels of All of Us

Angels of all of us,

We know about THE TRUTH, and we know about our personal truth.  Today, our concern is about our personal truth: the qualities and traits that make us who we are; our requirements for happiness and peace; and that which brings us joy.

For most of us, our personal truth remains hidden within our Self.  It can be found hiding in the deepest part of our heart.

We are afraid to allow it to come forth.

Angels of all of us,

Help us to know our personal truth.  Help us to identify it, accept it and cherish it.  Help us to receive its freedom, peace and joy.  Help us to enjoy the happiness and strength that personal truth always gives.

I am Rev. Barbara.  I speak for all those who are open and receptive to this word.  I speak for all those who desire the truth.  It is the truth from which health, prosperity, love and satisfaction flow.

Thank you, angels of all of us.  Thank you for helping us experience the joy of knowing our personal truth.  Thank you for the peace and clarity this knowing brings.

Peace,

Rev. Barbara

Failure Hones the Practice of Excellence

Nov. 11, 2013

Hi,

It’s been an interesting week.  Several times each day, I’ve heard my angels whisper, “Are you practicing love”, or “Is what you about to do the practice of prosperity”, or “Are you practicing health”, or “Ahhh.  Those words are the practice of wisdom.  Very good.”?

Their clear, understandable, focused comments are in response to last week’s blog “What You Practice Is What You Have” based on Cheri Huber’s book.

I was even given a title for a bulletin board: We Practice Excellence; therefore, We Have Excellence

I practice excellence; I leave perfection to God and the angels.

And, since so many of the people I coach fear failure, or haven’t been exposed to the teaching of master teacher Thomas Edison, the American scientist and inventor, that states: “failure is simply the collection of ways that won’t work to solve the current challenge”. (paraphrased), I was led to add to the bulletin board: “We celebrate failure.  It hones our practice of excellence.”

As I said, it’s been an interesting week.  As I have practiced being, doing, having what I desire and listening to my angels, I have experienced continuous joy and peace.

It is my hope that all of you have practiced being what you desire to be, do and have, that all of you have felt and heard your angels and that all of you experienced, are experiencing and will continue to experience the presence of angels.

Ask the Angels

Angels of all of us,

It is with great joy that I thank you for being with us this past week.  I thank you for sending wisdom.  I thank you for sending prosperity, health and love.  But, most of all, I thank you for making your presence known.

It is a great blessing to hear and feel your guidance, support and nurturance.  Sensing your presence makes it easier for us to open and receive the shower of blessings that is sent to us continuously.  Thank you.

This is Rev. Barbara speaking.  I speak the word for all those who are open and receptive to it.  I speak so that all of us will know the truth and have the freedom that truth brings.  I speak so that all of us will recognize and respond to the love and support of the angels.

Angels of all of us,

Thank you for a week of peace and joy.  Thank you for your clear, understandable, focused whispers of wisdom and encouragement.  Thank you for helping us receive the many blessings of the Universe.

Peace,

Rev. Barbara

End Discouragement

Nov. 3, 2013

Hello,

It doesn’t matter what new thing one desires to bring forth: a new government in Syria, or a new way to purchase health insurance in the United States, discouragement will appear.

Discouragement can be the greatest obstacle to achievement and success because it weakens and, sometimes, destroys individuals.  Discouragement is not permanent or destructive unless you allow it to be.

Counter Discouragement

One of the ways to counter discouragement is to constantly remind your Self of who you are really:

  • Always, always, always spell “self” with a capital letter:  your Self, my Self, the Self, etc.  This serves to remind you that you have the power, the creativity and the abilities of that which created you, God.  God gave you the qualities of God when you were created.
  • Speak out loud: “I am capable”; “I am creative”; “I am a genius”; “I am an organizer”; “I am successful”; “I am a winner”; “I am confident”; “I am connected to God, the angels, the ascended masters and all those who desire me to have my highest good, and I continuously receive from all of them”.
  • Speak out loud: “I have the habit of success”; “I have the habit of winning”; “I have the habit of achieving”.  Yes, success, winning and achieving are habits.  If you haven’t acquired them, plan to do so now.
  • When you think or feel discouragement, immediately repeat the above “I am’s” and “I have’s”.
  • Send an email to me requesting a copy of “Before Birthing an Idea” available on this site; it’s a free e book that lists the truths, decisions, and actions necessary for the successful birth of an idea.  I copied and enlarged a copy of the truths and the decisions; I hung these on a wall that I pass several times a day so that I read them several times a day.  These, also, help dissolve discouragement.
  • Lastly, of course, I turn to the angels.

Belief System

Add to your belief system:

  • I am a knower of who I really am and a knower of what I am to do
  • I have the answer.  I stop seeking.  I take action.
  • My idea is birthed.  It appears in physical form.  It is strong, healthy and vibrant.
  • I am victory.  I announce it.  I claim it.  I see it now.

Ask the Angels:

Angels of all of us, surround us in hope, faith, joy and the knowledge that we have surrendered to the highest good for our life.  Uncover our confidence so that we know the idea we are supporting is part of this highest good. Allow encouragement to spread through each morsel of our being and our project, the birthing our idea.

This is Rev. Barbara.  I speak and write this word for all who are open and receptive to it.  I speak so that all of us will know the truth and that this truth sets us free.

Angels of all of us, hope, faith and joy bath each and every one of us. We feel and are encouraged.  We surrender to the highest good for our life. We keep the habit of success, winning and achieving. We are in love with our Self, our project and all the Universe.

Thank you, angels of all of us, for your support, nurturance and aid.

Peace to all,

Rev. Barbara

The Joy Journal

Aug. 13, 2013

Hi,

I keep a Joy Journal.  Each night I record my experiences of joy I had during the day.  My goal is to have ten such experiences daily.  I call them My Daily Joy Experiences and have used these words as the title of this section of my Joy Journal.

In the front of my Joy Journal, I’ve left space to add to my list of joyful experiences.  I titled these pages My Joy List.

For example, I enjoy meditative piano, flute and guitar music; this is listed in My Joy List; I make certain that I listen to some of this music during my day so that I can list it as part of my Daily Joy Experiences

I enjoy the smell of real roses and drinking certain teas so these are on My Joy List, also. I’ve found that as I’ve gotten really serious about having ten experiences of daily joy, my list has grown.

By insisting on daily experiences of joy, I’ve noticed that I am more relaxed and at ease, and I’ve noticed that contact with angels is easier and more frequent.  I believe I’ve become more conscious of walking with angels and other life forms that serve the Light (God).

I urge you to begin this practice and take the time to notice its positive effect on your life.

Love,

Barbara
